TYG is partnered with a leading multidisciplinary design and planning firm in Phoenix that is experiencing significant growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Land Planner who wants to do more than deliver projects. The team is looking for someone who can step into a key role today and grow into a leadership position as the business continues to expand. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments while helping shape the future direction of the planning team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead planning efforts on a variety of high-profile development projects
- Manage project teams and mentor junior staff through entitlement, zoning, and compliance processes
- Build relationships with municipalities and collaborate with local government agencies to navigate approvals and regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Landscape Architects, Engineers, and other planning professionals
- Contribute to the continued growth of the Land Planning practice, with a clear pathway toward increased leadership responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Project, Excel, and AutoCAD to support project delivery
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of Land Planning experience
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of zoning, entitlements, and development approval processes
- Proven ability to manage projects and guide junior team members
- A proactive professional with the ambition and capability to develop into a future team leader
