A growing civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Engineer with 5 years of experience in land development to join their collaborative team. This position involves contributing to a range of site development projects through design, documentation, permitting, and coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater systems, and utilities using Civil 3D.
- Prepare construction documents, drainage reports, and permit submittals (including SWPPPs).
- Attend municipal meetings and support the project approval process.
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside consultants.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to project scheduling and deadline management.
- Support client communication and uphold project quality standards.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of site or land development experience.
- PE license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Solid understanding of stormwater design, grading, and utility layout.
- Strong communication, time management, and team collaboration skills.
