Job Summary
We are seeking a Remodeling Foreman to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in all Day-to-day construction activities
- Beginning to end residential construction, including framing, remodeling existing construction, roofing and skylight's, siding, door and window installation, insulation, drywall, flooring and tile, cabinetry, precision trim installation, and soffit, fascia and gutter work.
- Perform as lead carpenter, managing a crew of up to four carpenters.
- build additions/remodeling directly from blue-print designs.
- Utilize blueprints and complete projects with hand, power and air tools associate with carpentry.
- responsible for managing materials, maximizing resources, and managing workflow
- establish relationships and manage conflict resolution with all parties involved during projects to create an agreeable working environment.
- Accustomed to extreme weather conditions, heavy lifting and stamina challenging days.
- Possess an enthusiastic, supportive and team-oriented work ethic
Qualifications
- 5 years of full time, verifiable experience with a working knowledge of all facets of remodeling and residential construction. The lead carpenter can expect work to be delegated to them by our project managers, but they are expected to not need direct supervision to accomplish their task. they need to perform layout and supervision when their project manger is not on site.
- Provide basic carpentry tools
- dependable, presentable transportation
- calid drivers license with an excellent record (to be verified with our insurance carrier)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and terminology
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to fill out forms legibly
- Knowledge of sage lifting and carrying
- Adequate hearing, vision, physical ability and endurance to perform assigned task
- Can perform physical exertion typically found on construction sites including, but not limited to, carrying, lifting, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling and hauling. Able to lift 75-125 pounds on a regular basis; regular lifting of 30-50 pounds over your head. You will be expected to work in inside and outside on even and uneven surfaces, on roofs and ladders, under structures, and in other physical situations.
