Spanish Teacher

Job Description

Tyburn Academy, a Private Independent Catholic School located in Auburn, New York is looking to hire a qualified High School Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school level Spanish. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of Tyburn Academy.

Compensation: $5000 per course

Potential for full-time employment if Spanish can be combined with another academic subject.

Qualifications:

• Required: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Spanish or relevant experience.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Must provide a resume, 3 references, and a cover letter.
• Excellent classroom management skills or willingness to learn.
• Excellent pedagogical skills able to differentiate instruction or the willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Google Drive is a plus.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission, teachings, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church is a must.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
