Position OverviewAs a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be generating new business opportunities and expanding TXD Commercial’s presence within the commercial real estate and facilities market. This role is heavily focused on developing relationships with property managers, consultants, facility leaders, asset managers, ownership groups, and commercial building decision makers.
The ideal candidate understands how to network, prospect, follow up consistently, and position themselves as a trusted resource in the market. This person should be comfortable walking into new opportunities, building a territory, and creating conversations that turn into long-term partnerships.
This is a high-accountability, high-upside role for someone who thrives on building something, not just maintaining it.
- Develop and grow relationships with:
Property Management Companies
Building Owners
Asset Managers
Facility Managers
Roofing Consultants
Commercial Real Estate Professionals
- Create new opportunities through:
Cold outreach
Networking
Site visits
Industry events
Referral partnerships
Strategic prospecting
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of service, maintenance, restoration, and reroof opportunities
- Generate inspections, budget conversations, and roofing assessments that lead to long-term partnerships
- Work closely with leadership and operations teams to develop solutions tailored to each client’s needs
- Maintain strong follow-up and CRM discipline throughout the sales process
- Represent TXD Commercial professionally in the market and strengthen brand presence across the region
- Achieve and exceed activity, pipeline, and sales goals
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship-driven account management
- Experience in commercial roofing, construction, facilities, property management, or commercial real estate is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to create opportunities independently
- Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and market development
- Organized and disciplined with follow-up and pipeline management
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the DFW market
