Retail Sales Associate – Smoke Shop
Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our smoke shop team! You’ll help customers find the right products, provide excellent service, process sales, and keep the store clean and organized. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, quick to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash accurately.
- Verify customer ID and follow all applicable age-restriction laws.
- Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized displays.
- Assist with inventory, opening/closing duties, and general store upkeep.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Create a welcoming experience that encourages repeat customers.
Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable learning about new products and assisting customers.
- Basic cash-handling and POS experience is a plus.
- Must meet all applicable legal age requirements.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
