Service Coordinator – Auto Spa (Tint, PPF, Coatings, and Window Tint)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team at TX Tint , specializing in automotive tinting, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, and home/commercial window tinting. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by managing client appointments, coordinating services, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers in person and via phone/email, providing them with expert guidance and information about services offered (auto tint, PPF, coatings, residential/commercial window tinting).
- Assist clients in selecting the appropriate services based on their needs, explaining the benefits and features of various products and services.
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Appointment Scheduling and Coordination:
- Manage daily service schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and time.
- Confirm and remind customers about their scheduled appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Service Management:
- Track progress of ongoing projects and communicate updates to customers.
- Ensure all required materials and supplies are available for scheduled services (e.g., tint films, coatings, PPF kits).
- Monitor quality control and assist in troubleshooting any service-related issues that may arise.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service details.
- Process payments, generate invoices, and handle billing inquiries.
- Handle inventory management for tint films, PPF, and other related products.
- Customer Follow-up and Retention:
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Encourage customer reviews and feedback to help improve service quality and grow business.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with technicians and management to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service delivery.
- Assist in training new staff on customer service protocols and service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or service coordinator role, preferably in the automotive, home, or commercial service industries.
- Knowledge or interest in automotive detailing, window tinting, PPF, or coatings is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and scheduling software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Must be comfortable working in an auto spa environment with occasional exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
