We are currently hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) for school-based opportunities in the Houston area. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about helping students develop the skills needed to participate fully in their educational environment. What You’ll Do As an Occupational Therapist in a school setting, you will support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills that promote independence and academic success. Key responsibilities include: Provide occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy services in-person and/or via teletherapy Collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams Support students in accessing classroom activities and routines Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute recommendations What You’ll Need Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field Active Texas Occupational Therapy license Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is a plus Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Work Environment & Flexibility School-based positions in Houston and surrounding areas Opportunities serving students from early childhood through high school Flexible opportunities available: Full-time placements Part-time schedules PRN opportunities In-person, hybrid, and virtual opportunities based on district needs Placement based on your availability and preferences Why TX-STAR?
