Make an Impact Where It Matters Most At TX-STAR Speech Language Services, we partner with school districts across Texas to support students through high quality educational services and staffing solutions. We are currently hiring for two school-based teaching opportunities with a partner district in the San Antonio area. Certified 6–12 Social Studies Teacher (Bilingual English/Spanish Required) Certified 6–12 Science Teacher (Bilingual English/Spanish Required) These opportunities are ideal for educators who are passionate about student success, bilingual education, and making a meaningful impact in diverse classroom environments. What You’ll Do As a classroom teacher, you will provide engaging instruction, support student growth, and collaborate with school leadership and staff to create a positive learning environment. Deliver instruction aligned with Texas TEKS and district curriculum requirements Create lesson plans and classroom activities that support student engagement and achievement Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and language needs of diverse learners Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Assess student progress and provide timely feedback Collaborate with administrators, teachers, support staff, and families Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and campus initiatives Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and required documentation Support bilingual students through effective English and Spanish communication What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Valid Texas teaching certification for 6–12 Social Studies or 6–12 Science Bilingual English/Spanish required Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a school team environment Passion for supporting student growth and achievement School-based teaching experience preferred Work Environment & Flexibility School-based, on-site positions in San Antonio Full-time opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year Middle and high school student populations Placement based on certification area and district needs Why TX-STAR?
