American Income Life is expanding its remote sales team and welcomes individuals who communicate well, enjoy helping others, and are ready to learn. You will connect with people who have requested benefit information and help them explore life insurance and supplemental coverage.

Sales, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required. Training and ongoing coaching are available to help you develop your skills.

Work Arrangement and Compensation

This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position with commission-only pay. No hourly wage or base salary is offered. Earned commissions are paid weekly, with residual income opportunities available.

Your Role in the Client Experience

From the first conversation through the application process, you will help clients understand their options and complete the steps needed to apply for coverage.

Your responsibilities include:

• Handling incoming and outgoing calls with prospective clients and existing policyholders.
• Booking and confirming virtual appointments.
• Meeting with clients over Zoom to discuss their priorities and explain insurance options.
• Recommending and selling coverage suited to individual needs.
• Reviewing additional protection with current policyholders when appropriate.
• Preparing applications and checking submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Following up on documents and information requested during underwriting.
• Updating client records and reporting daily activity.
• Participating in optional training sessions.

You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Getting Started

A valid life insurance license is required before you can sell insurance. Applicants who are not licensed must obtain the appropriate license, and applicable licensing fees apply.

For remote work, you will need a reliable computer, dependable internet access, a cell phone with unlimited long-distance calling, and a suitable space for client calls and video meetings.
