Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of framing and building construction, including metal building erection, concrete forming, and carpentry. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction safety protocols. The Framer will play a key part in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our projects, working on diverse construction sites with a focus on precision and efficiency.
Duties
- Erect metal buildings and frameworks according to blueprints and schematics
- Install rebar and perform concrete forming and finishing tasks
- Execute frame carpentry, including woodworking, siding, stucco, and trim carpentry
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Install masonry components such as brickwork or stonework as required
- Perform roofing, plastering, siding, and restoration work to meet project specifications
- Manage heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Collaborate with construction management to ensure project timelines and safety standards are maintained
- Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills across various phases of construction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, or related construction fields
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices and safety protocols on-site
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, siding, stucco application, and framing techniques
- Experience with restoration projects or remodeling is a plus
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Valid experience in construction site environments with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors or project managers
