Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and experience with the installation of windows and doors. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Conduct fabrication of trim as needed for custom installations.
- Ensure proper caulking and sealing of installed products to prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide high-quality craftsmanship in carpentry, including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and door hanging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
Experience
- Proven experience in window/door installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Strong background in construction site experience, including knowledge of safety practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
