Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax CPA or Manager for a part-time or full-time, on-site role in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will oversee and manage tax preparation processes, handle complex tax matters, and ensure compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, developing tax strategies for clients, conducting tax research, and providing financial and accounting advice. You will lead client engagements, mentor junior team members, and support process improvements to provide high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Tax Preparation and Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credentials
- Strong knowledge of Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in Accounting and Finance principles and practices
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in the public accounting sector is a plus
