Title Google Cloud Platform Engineer
Position 6 Months Contract to Hire
Location Hybrid (Wilmington, DE)
Required Skills:
- 4 years of hands-on experience operating Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) in production, including services such as Cloud Run, GKE, VPC networking, and Secret Manager.
- 2 years of experience designing and governing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, including reusable module development and organizational standards.
- Demonstrated experience owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for cloud-native workloads.
- Need the architecture experience
- Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including networking, IAM, Cloud Run, GKE, security controls, and observability.
- Strong understanding of enterprise cloud security, segmentation, and blast-radius reduction strategies.
- Expert-level Terraform proficiency, including state management, module versioning, and GitOps-based workflows.
- Ability to confidently challenge designs, push back on stakeholders when needed, and defend technical decisions in security- and compliance-sensitive environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across cloud, network, and identity domains.
