Duties
- Lead energetic and motivating Pilates reformer classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring clients perform routines safely and effectively
- Design personalized workout programs that align with clients’ fitness goals, health conditions, and biomechanics
- Provide clear instructions on body mechanics, breathing techniques, and exercise modifications as needed
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to manual handling protocols and first aid procedures during classes
- Foster positive client relationships through excellent communication, encouragement, and personalized coaching
- Stay current with industry trends in Pilates, biomechanics, yoga, cycling, CrossFit, and other fitness disciplines to enhance class offerings
Requirements
- Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor with recognized certification from a reputable organization
- Proven experience teaching group fitness classes with strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Ability to demonstrate exercises effectively while providing hands-on corrections when necessary
- Knowledge of health club operations, customer service skills, and client communication strategies
- Strong coaching skills combined with motivational fitness techniques to inspire clients at all levels of ability
