Job Overview
Two Rivers is hiring a part-time afterschool teachers. Afterschool runs from 3:00-5:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and from 1:00-5:30 on Wednesdays. We are looking for candidates who are interested in working 3 or more shifts per week. Applicants should have experience working with children of different ages.
Duties
- Plan and coordinate activities for students to do during after school on Wednesdays.
- Monitor students during after school.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for students and staff.
- Implement behavior management techniques to maintain focus and discipline during sessions.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Background in childcare or babysitting, demonstrating the ability to engage with children effectively.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
