About the PracticeLocated in the McAllen/Mission area, we are a leading cosmetic surgery practice specializing in men’s chest contouring (Gynecomastia surgery). We believe in high-impact visual storytelling to educate our patients and showcase our transformative results. We produce a high volume of raw content and are looking for a creative, organized professional to help us turn that media into a powerful brand engine.
The RoleThis is a hybrid position for a Video Production Assistant who is as organized as they are creative. You will be responsible for the "lifecycle" of our video content—from assisting with shoots in our Mission office to cataloging massive amounts of raw footage and editing final cuts for social media and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support: Assist the Founder in capturing high-quality video and photo content in-office (patient testimonials, b-roll, and educational clips).
- Media Management: Organize, tag, and catalog a large library of raw video files to ensure the team can find specific clips instantly.
- Video Editing: Perform "first-cut" and final-cut editing for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and our website.
- Content Utilization: Repurpose long-form content into short-form "reels" or "shorts" to maximize our reach.
- Creative Input: Brainstorm new ways to visualize surgical results and patient journeys while maintaining a professional medical aesthetic.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred), Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Creative Background: A strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling. Experience in photography or graphic design is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: You must be highly detail-oriented with experience in file management and digital asset organization.
- Location: Ability to work in-person at our Mission, Texas office regularly, with the flexibility for remote editing days.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive medical content (before-and-after photos/videos) with total discretion and HIPAA compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $50,000 USD.
- Payment Schedule: Bi-monthly (twice per month).
