Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the autobody shop, including workflow and staff coordination.
- Ensure all repairs and services meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to technicians on auto body repair, detailing, auto glass installation, and auto painting.
- Maintain an organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed during vehicle restoration projects.
- Collaborate with the shop manager to implement training programs for staff development.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in auto body repair techniques, detailing processes, and auto glass installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with vehicle restoration projects.
- Familiarity with automotive painting processes is a plus.
