Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Milling Crew Water Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating water trucks to support milling operations, ensuring the construction site remains safe, clean, and compliant with environmental standards. Duties
- Prior experience driving a Water Truck or similar vehicle/equipment.
- Operate water trucks to control dust, provide moisture for milling surfaces, and support various construction activities on-site
- Conduct routine inspections of water trucks to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and site activities
- Maintain accurate records of water truck usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
Skills
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Proven construction site experience, be able to safely maneuver water truck in and out of a construction zone.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on water trucks
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols to ensure compliance at all times
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on busy construction sites
- Must be available to work out of town/state during the week when needed.
