We’re looking for a highly motivated, high-energy Operations Manager who can lead daily operations, develop our team, and help drive company growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day field and office operations — managing staff, dispatching trucks, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This person must be a strong problem solver and decision maker who leads by example and holds themselves and their team accountable.
You’ll have autonomy to make operational decisions with full support from company leadership. The right candidate will have a clear path toward advancement into General Manager or Regional Manager roles.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily moving, delivery, and logistics operations
Hire, train, and develop drivers, movers, and office staff
Schedule crews, manage routes, and ensure timely completion of jobs
Maintain truck fleet and ensure DOT compliance and readiness
Monitor KPIs: job profitability, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction
Create systems and processes that improve efficiency and accountability
Handle customer escalations and resolve issues quickly
Collaborate with ownership to meet growth and performance goals
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or moving industry
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to coach and hold team members accountable
Tech-savvy with basic computer and scheduling software skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL not required)
