The Operations Manager is responsible for safely and successfully carrying out the day-to-day franchise activities to meet established operating goals, standards, sales and profits. This is accomplished primarily through: hiring, training, and motivating franchise employees; controlling costs; managing daily franchise operations; and consistently exceeding customer expectations. The operations manager ensures the franchise is consistently operating in compliance with the franchise agreement, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system standards, and applicable laws and regulations. The Operations Manager should have general knowledge of functional support areas, including our core business, Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll, Sales, Safety, Recruiting and Retention.

- Promotes and protects the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand
- Ensures operational, sales and profit goals are met on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
- Maintains staffing, onboarding, training, and retention expectations
- Upholds and Improves a very strongly established safety culture
- Successfully manages a $3.5 Million budget
- Oversees truck maintenance, care, and longevity of all moving trucks and service vehicles
- Measures operational productivity and goal achievement
- Ensures employee accountability and adherence to franchise and system standards and policies
- Oversees employee development and corrective action programs
- Assists with workers compensation and unemployment claims
- Coordinates and directs all equipment inventory programs
- Ensures compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Handles customer concerns and oversees damage resolution process with care and concern
- Responsible for being the “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
- Participates in regular training and development programs offered through Stick men university® to further the knowledge of the system
- Actively participates in community, industry or other relevant associations
- All other duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or other related field is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of successful business, management, or other relevant operational experience is preferred
- TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is preferred
- Possible Interest in future ownership or advancement opportunities

- Strong commitment to and experience in Safety organization and accountability
- Extensive experience in fleet maintenance and transportation
- Proven acumen of business financials
