If you do not currently have a commercial driver's license, you will be trained to drive a commercial vehicle and supported in getting your driver's license "For-Hire" endorsement
What You'll Do
- Greet customer upon arrival at location, make a positive first impression (smile, handshake, positive attitude), and complete a walk-through of the premises
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customers' belongings
- Working with a team of movers to load and unload moving truck
- Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection
- Safely drive and maneuver various sized vehicles up to a 26-foot box truck
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance restrictions
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- 2 years of prior driving experience necessary per insurance requirements
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, loading, unloading, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly, or warehouse helpful
- Drug Free Workplace – all applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random screenings per Department of Transportation regulations.
