Junk Removal Driver & Sales Representative
Position Summary
The Junk Removal Driver & Sales Representative operates a commercial truck, evaluates on-site junk removal needs, provides pricing, closes sales, and safely removes and disposes of materials from residential and commercial properties. This position combines driving, sales, customer service, and physical labor and requires professionalism, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
Essential Job DutiesSales & Customer Interaction
- Conduct on-site evaluations to determine volume, labor, and disposal requirements.
- Accurately price jobs using company pricing guidelines.
- Present pricing professionally and close on-site sales.
- Collect payments and complete all required job documentation.
- Identify opportunities for additional services or future jobs.
Driving & Equipment
- Safely operate company commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and Florida law.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Monitor and report fuel, oil, coolant, tires, lights, brakes, and other safety items.
- Secure loads properly and operate lifting, hauling, and safety equipment.
Job Site Operations
- Remove furniture, debris, appliances, construction waste, yard waste, and other items safely and efficiently.
- Protect customer property (floors, walls, doors, landscaping).
- Use dollies, straps, ramps, and lifting techniques to prevent injury and damage.
- Sort materials for landfill, recycling, donation, or hazardous disposal as required.
End-of-Day Responsibilities
- Verify paperwork, payments, and electronic records are complete and accurate.
- Clean, organize, and restock the truck and equipment.
- Secure vehicle and company property.
Professional Standards
- Wear approved Two Men and a Junk Truck uniform and maintain clean appearance.
- Maintain professional behavior and customer-first attitude at all times.
- Follow all company policies, safety rules, and training standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history
- Must qualify for company insurance and DOT compliance
- Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Commercial vehicle experience preferred but not required
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Ability to explain pricing and close deals in person
- Professional customer service and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to direct helpers or crew members when assigned
- Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and equipment use
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and digital instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing in and out of trucks
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and rain
- Good vision, balance, and hand-eye coordination
Work Conditions
- Work is performed at residential and commercial job sites and in company vehicles
- Exposure to dust, dirt, debris, sharp objects, and heavy materials
- Schedule may include weekends, long days, and variable hours

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
