Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and guest experience of two properties. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage both routine upkeep and unexpected issues while ensuring each property is maintained to a high standard year-round.
This is a dynamic, physically active position that blends property maintenance, vendor coordination, and hospitality. The role includes evening and weekend availability for guest communication and issue resolution.
Property Operations & Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections of both properties to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality
- Handle general repairs and maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical basics, carpentry, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve property issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
Groundskeeping & Seasonal Work
- Manage landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, and general exterior upkeep
- Perform snow removal including plowing, shoveling, and salting during winter months
- Maintain driveways, walkways, and outdoor spaces for safety and appearance
- Execute seasonal preparation and shutdown procedures
Guest Experience & Communication
- Ensure properties are guest-ready at all times
- Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure inspections
- Respond to guest messages, calls, and needs in a timely and professional manner
- Provide evening and weekend availability for guest communication and urgent issues
- Handle guest concerns or emergencies to maintain a high-quality experience
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Schedule and oversee third-party vendors for specialized repairs or services
- Obtain quotes and ensure work is completed to standard
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules
Scheduling & Checklists
- Follow and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal checklists
- Maintain organized records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Plan and prioritize tasks based on property needs and occupancy schedules
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Strong handyman skills and general knowledge of property systems
- Ability to operate equipment such as lawn mowers, plow trucks, and basic tools
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to be on-call during evenings and weekends for guest needs
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Capable of performing manual labor including snow removal and landscaping
Compensation & Schedule
- Compensation: Depending on experience
- Schedule: Full-time position with on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends
- Housing: Optional live-in arrangement available

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
