We are a reputable, high-volume collision repair facility known for quality workmanship, honesty, and exceptional customer service. We are growing and looking to add a skilled Heavy Collision Technician to our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Collision Technician capable of performing major structural repairs, unibody and frame corrections, heavy collision teardown/reassembly, suspension work, and advanced body panel replacement. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, safety-focused, and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy collision repairs including frame pulls, unibody corrections, and major structural repairs
- Reassemble vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair suspension components related to collision damage
- Replace quarter panels, body panels, door skins, and other structural or cosmetic components
- Use frame machines, measuring systems, welders, and related equipment safely and effectively
- Identify structural damage and collaborate with estimators on required repairs
- Follow OEM repair procedures and industry best practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in heavy collision or structural auto body repair
- Strong understanding of unibody, frame, and suspension systems
- Skilled in panel replacement, welding, cutting, and metal finishing
- Ability to read and follow OEM repair procedures
- I-CAR or manufacturer certifications a plus (not required)
