Job Summary
We are seeking a 'skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal work, welding, dent repair and overall body repair knowledge. Pay structure is based on 'per job completion recorded on flag sheets turned in every 2 weeks.
Duties
- Repair and replace vehicle body parts as needed
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, rust repair and framework straightening
- Weld and fabricate metal components as required
- Utilize paint spraying equipment for finishing touches as well as full body paint
- Use power tools effectively to complete tasks
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship
Experience
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in sheet metal work, welding, and/or paint spraying
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components effectively
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience in an auto body shop environment is required
