This is a senior, high-impact role suited for a strategic leader looking to expand their producing portfolio and align with a distinctive new work at a pivotal stage of development.
The Associate Producer will serve as the primary driver of revenue generation and external partnerships, playing a critical role in the production’s realization and long-term viability.
Primary ResponsibilitiesFundraising is the core responsibility of this role, including:
- Designing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy with defined revenue goals
- Cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-level individual donors, sponsors, and partners
- Leveraging professional networks to secure significant financial support
- Leading sponsorship and major gift conversations from introduction through close
- Collaborating with senior leadership on donor-facing narratives and investment materials
- Ensuring professional stewardship, recognition, and ongoing relationship management
- Serving as a senior producer with visibility across creative, financial, and strategic decisions
- Advising on budget structure, capitalization strategy, and financial positioning
- Representing the production in high-level meetings, events, and external engagements
- Supporting audience development and brand alignment where it intersects with fundraising
- Proven success in fundraising, development, or revenue leadership (arts, nonprofit, or cultural sectors preferred)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage high-net-worth individuals and institutional stakeholders
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate artistic vision into compelling investment cases
- Interest in building a producing credit on an original musical with future growth potential
- Theatre or live entertainment experience is advantageous but not required
- Executive Producer credit on a high-profile original production
