Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is maximized
- Upsell menu items and specials to increase sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, bussing tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, food safety standards, and allergy information to serve guests responsibly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with upselling techniques, guest relations, and cash handling is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and payment processing
