Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers and dump trucks on designated routes.
- Help with on the job paving operations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmissions, brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Follow planned routes diligently while adapting to traffic conditions or unforeseen obstacles to meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered during routes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to driving large vehicles such as dump trucks or tanker trucks and ensure cargo is secured properly during transit.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of trucks operated (e.g., tanker endorsement if applicable).
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling and route driving.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles with a strong understanding of truck controls and handling.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance standards.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,750.00 per week
