Facilities Manager
Two Bridges Regional Jail is seeking qualified applicants to fill a new full-time position. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining and operating building systems in the jail complex, direct and control all maintenance and custodial related functions, manage facility contracts with vendors, maintain facility capital improvement plan and supervise employees.
Required:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass background checks
- Knowledge and ability to perform general carpentry, masonry, sheet rock, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems maintenance
- Ability to use a computer to input/obtain information, schedule work for a 24-hour need
- Ability to use HVAC/heating monitoring software
- Ability to learn to operate/maintain complex technical, electrical and mechanical systems required
- Ability to obtain all mandatory licenses to maintain all facility equipment/grounds required
Preferred:
- 5 years’ experience in maintenance field
- Experience with correctional building controls to include familiarity with integrated security electronics and communications systems and detention locking systems/equipment
