Duties
- Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain lush, healthy turf.
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning trees and shrubs, mulching, and weed control.
- Perform seasonal work including spring and fall cleanups, yard aeration, and fertilization.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and small excavators to complete various landscaping tasks efficiently.
- Assist with firewood processing including cutting, splitting, stacking, and organizing firewood.
- Help with snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Conduct routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and snow plows safely.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and construction projects.
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
