Twisted Italian Restaurant in Peoria, AZ is looking for an experienced Sauté Cook to join our team. Hours include days, nights and weekends. Located within the Lake Pleasant Towne Center at Lake Pleasant Rd and Happy Valley rd, Twisted Italian is an upscale casual full-service Chicago Italian restaurant servicing the Northwest Valley. We are an independent restaurant that focuses on a combination of Italian Specialties, Chicago Classics, and unique creative offerings. We have been voted as "Best Italian Restaurant" by the Peoria Time readers poll for the past 6 years.
Position Qualifications
- Must possess Strong Sauté cooking skills in a high volume environment. At least 2 years experience of High Volume Sauté.
- Italian Cooking Experience a strong plus.
- Must have open availability and flexibility in adjusting schedule to meet team needs
- Must have an excellent understanding of Food Safety and an urgency in ensuring it is deployed in practice
- Must be able to balance delivering high quality dishes in a timely manner
- Must be able to maintain an even temperament during stressful moments
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced high volume team environment.
- Must be high energy with a positive attitude
- Must be comfortable with giving direction to the team
- Able to partner well with the FOH in delivering a memorable guest experience
Position Responsibilities
- Manages Sauté or other stations including expo.
- Deliver and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes made in a consistent manner and to recipe requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Ensure that established procedures and policies are adhered to.

Compensation is variable with the candidates experience and proven skill set. We are closed all major holidays including Super Bowl Sunday. Our restaurant closes at 8:30pm on weeknights and 9:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Position is full time but will consider part time for the right candidate.
