Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Service Specialist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences in an elevated casual environment. As a Service Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, managing the bar and dining area, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Our FOH positions are unlike anything in El Paso. Your compensation is a combination of hourly and profit sharing and we are a "tips not necessary restaurant". Full time employees have a potential to earn up to 36,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide personalized service, enhancing their overall experience.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Upsell drink specials and menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a fine dining/gastropub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and current beverage trends is beneficial.
