Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Full time and part time and energetic Breakfast Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast dishes to are guest staying at the Inn, and set the tone for their day. The Shifts are 6 Hours shifts. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will ensure a memorable dining experience. Also need to have a creative side, because you will be responsible for certain room amenities if needed If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for creating flavorful morning meals, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and grow within a vibrant food service setting.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other hot and cold dishes
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively according to menu standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options and seasonal specials
- Handle food preparation tasks efficiently during busy service hours to meet guest demands
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Support catering and special event breakfast setups as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide work is a plus
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
