What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Morning Baker position at Twisted Croissant?
AM baker will perform all of the duties associated with daily bake-off of pastries for retail and farmers markets. Hours are typically 3am-11am but during Farmers Markets Sat-Sun, shift can start at 2am. ****PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU LACK THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE IN A PROFESSIONAL BAKERY/KITCHEN*****
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Morning bake-off including egg-wash, filling, glazing, etc.
- Scaling & mixing
- Preparing mise en place for stations
- Using proof boxes, ovens, 30 & 80qrt mixers, properly maintaining & working within proper safety standards
- Consistent & punctual attendance
- Maintaining Twisted Croissant’s quality standards & controls
- Communicate clearly with lead baker and fellow team members
- Follow company policies & procedures
Qualifications:
- Current OR Food Handlers Card
- Current OR Drivers License with clean record
- 2-years commercial baking experience
- Knowledge of proofing yeasted dough and final baking techniques
- Attention to details
- Ability to multi task
- Have basic math skills
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Previous experience working early morning shifts
- Ability to stand and hustle for long periods of time
- HAVE WORKED IN A PROFESSIONAL/COMMERCIAL BAKERY/KITCHEN FOR 2 YEARS

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
