What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Mechanic position at Twisted Creek Diesel, LLC?
Job Summary
We are a medium and heavy duty diesel repair shop looking for a skilled heavy duty mechanic. Looking for someone experienced with newer trucks such as Freightliner, Western Star, Volvo, Peterbilt, and Kenworth. We service Detroit, CAT, Cummins, and Volvo.
Jobs include - transmission replacement, clutch replacement, rear-end replacement, electrical diagnostics, emissions diag, radiator replacements, tire replacement, regular PMs, simple repairs, etc. (basically anything that can go wrong on a truck front to back)
IF you are able we would also like the idea of someone who can complete engine tear downs, head replacements, overheads, and overhauls.
This job does not just entail in shop work but will from time to time include running our service truck as well. If it can’t be done on the side of the road, have it towed back to our shop and do it there.
Pay is based on experience, skill, and work ethic. We are looking to add someone immediately, and you can choose from either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. W2 pay, 2 weeks paid vacation from day one, and other benefits!

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
