Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels.
- Conduct engaging individual and group lessons that incorporate music theory, performance techniques, and improvisation.
- Assess student progress regularly through performances, recitals, or evaluations; provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Keep lines of communication open with the parents or guardians.
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching music and/or a degree in music performance or education with a focus on piano performance and experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Strong background in lesson planning tailored for various age groups including adult learners.
- Knowledge of techniques and strategies for diverse student populations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of different backgrounds and skill levels.
- Ability to teach voice or another musical instrument is a plus.
