Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs for ordering to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members across food service, catering, or banquet functions to deliver seamless guest experiences
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong customer service skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink mixing measurements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations and responsible beverage service practices
