What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Specialist position at Twins Buick GMC?
Primary Duties:
- Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedure AND routes.
- Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify the accuracy of the incoming or outgoing shipment.
- Prepares documents, such as bills of lading and shipping orders.
- Corresponds with establishments representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortage, and non-conformance to specifications
- Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly.
- Restocking of inventory
- Assist other parts-counter staff
- Direct parts runner
Secondary Duties:
- Parts delivery
- Back up inventory specialist and parts runner in their absence
- Assist with inventory counts
- Participates in all training programs that are made available
- Keeps current on new products and product updates
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
