We are hiring for multiple full-time nanny positions with families looking for someone to start immediately. We have opportunities throughout the greater Charlotte area, including Uptown, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver, and surrounding communities. We're looking for dependable, energetic, and nurturing individuals who genuinely love working with children. Our ideal candidates are dependable, nurturing, patient, and engaging individuals who genuinely love working with children. They should have experience caring for infants and newborns, be attentive to each child's individual needs, and enjoy creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment that supports learning, growth, and development.

Previous experience caring for infants and newborns is required. Candidates should be comfortable following feeding and nap schedules, supporting developmental milestones, and providing attentive, nurturing care.

Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic and playful with children.
• Be able to handle emergencies if they arise.
• Be a caring presence in the lives of children.
• Be flexible and willing to stay late or come in early when necessary.
• Light housework/clean up after children.
• Be comfortable around pets and able to handle emergencies if they arise.
• CPR/First Aid certified OR willing to get certified.
• Must be 18 years of age.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and children in your care.
• Prepare and warm bottles, following proper breast milk and formula storage and handling guidelines.
• Feed infants, change diapers, and maintain proper hygiene throughout the day.
• Follow established feeding, nap, and daily routines while practicing safe sleep guidelines.
• Engage infants in developmentally appropriate activities, including tummy time, sensory play, reading, singing, and interactive play.
• Encourage and support developmental milestones, including rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, and early communication.
• Plan and prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks, following each family's dietary preferences and needs.
• Organize fun, educational activities that encourage creativity, learning, and development.
• Coordinate and supervise age-appropriate playdates, outings, and activities that encourage social interaction.
• Maintain children's schedules, including naps, school, extracurricular activities, and appointments, as applicable.
• Clean and sanitize bottles, feeding supplies, toys, and other child-related items.
• Assist with children's laundry and maintain tidy, organized nurseries and play areas.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding feedings, diaper changes, naps, daily activities, developmental progress, and any concerns.
• Follow each family's parenting preferences and provide consistent, dependable, and loving care.
