Nanny Opportunity
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $19-$21/hour, depending on experience
A warm and easygoing family in Tampa/ Westchase is seeking a nurturing, attentive, and calm nanny to care for their 15-month-old boy. They are looking for someone who is gentle in nature, communicative, and committed to supporting his developmental milestones in a safe, loving environment. Nanny must be reliable.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday 8am - 5pm
Bonus if nanny is willing to transition to full time hours
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for a 15-month-old, including feeding, diapering, naps, and interactive play.
- Engage in developmentally appropriate activities to support growth and learning.
- Nanny must be reliable and respectful of families communication needs.
- Keep the play area and common spaces tidy, cleaning up after playtime and meals.
- During nap times, assist with baby-related tasks such as sanitizing bottles, cleaning baby dishes, tidying the play area, and doing/putting away the baby's laundry.
- Communicate openly with parents and be receptive to feedback.
- Practice safe hygiene, including consistent handwashing.
- Comfortable spending time in the home's lanai or outdoor area; neighborhood walks may be introduced once trust is established.
- Work respectfully alongside work-from-home parents and maintain professionalism.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work
- Previous infant care experience required
- Reliability is essential
- Strong communication skills and attentiveness
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Clean background check and professional childcare references (no family or friend references)
- Ability to safely lift and carry an infant and get on the floor to play
- Non-Smoker
Pay: $19–$21/hour, depending on experience
