We’re looking for candidates with at least three years of professional childcare experience who can pass a background check and have reliable transportation. Compensation:
$19 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate openly and effectively with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment to support a healthy and safe space for children.
- Adapt to the unique needs of each child, offering personalized care and attention.
- Collaborate with families to establish routines that align with their values and expectations.
- Monitor children's behavior and development, offering feedback and suggestions to parents as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing professional childcare for at least three years, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children.
- Ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and creativity.
- Proven track record of maintaining open and effective communication with parents to align on childcare practices.
- Capability to follow established routines and schedules, providing consistency and structure for children.
- Skill in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Competence in performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as tidying play areas and managing children's laundry.
- Adaptability to meet the unique needs and personalities of each child, offering personalized care and attention as needed.
Agency Requirements:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience.
- 3 or more excellent, verifiable references(these cannot be from family and/or friends).
- CPR and First Aid certified(or willing to obtain prior to start date).
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Non-Smoker.
