Freelance Videographer

This role is ideal for a freelance videographer who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about capturing authentic moments. The project involves a two-day shoot in a hotel suite in Austin, TX, focusing on filming a single subject as they discuss and demonstrate concepts for a book project. The content will be captured using two camera angles and high-quality audio, with an emphasis on natural, unscripted footage. The position requires adaptability, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver both raw footage and quick-turnaround edits suitable for social media.

Deliverables

• Film a subject over two days in a hotel suite, capturing both talking and action shots
• Utilize two camera angles and ensure clean, professional audio throughout
• Provide all raw footage at the end of each day
• Edit and deliver 2–3 vertical video clips optimized for social media platforms
• Ensure footage is natural, candid, and not overproduced
• Work independently or as a small team, maintaining flexibility to adapt to evolving shoot requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography, preferably with fast-paced or documentary-style shoots
• Proficiency with professional video and audio equipment
• Strong skills in video editing, especially for vertical formats and social media
• Ability to deliver same-day edits and meet tight deadlines
• Based in or able to work on-site in Austin, TX for the full duration of the project
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
