Twinco Mfg. Co., Inc. is a leading manufacturer of a wide variety of railroad signal equipment seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support continued expansion of our product lines. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and documenting mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications; this will be accomplished through creating models of parts, assemblies and drawings. Your expertise will contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and systems, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that integrate advanced CAD tools, system design principles, and manufacturing processes, all while providing support to our manufacturing and quality departments.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer FULL TIME 40 hours with a Flexible Schedule. The pay range we are offering is $90,000-$110,000 annually based on your experience and knowledge.

Professional Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience
  • Proven experience in mechanical design using CAD tools such as Creo.
  • Familiarity with FEA software for structural analysis and simulation purposes, sheet metal, electrical schematics and environmental testing a plus.
  • ERP/MRP entry
  • Knowledge of system design principles involving schematics, lab instrumentation (LabVIEW) a plus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background, criminal, and drug screening

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Product development and documentation

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs using software such as Creo, including schematics and drafting documentation.
  • Conduct mechanical analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to evaluate stress, thermal performance, and structural integrity of components.
  • Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards during design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise mechanical drawings and quality control.
