Duties
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Assist servers with guest needs, including refilling beverages and providing additional service as required
- Handle food safely during transportation, adhering to proper handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup tasks when needed
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing support
- Assist with banquet or special event setups as required
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and restaurant operations enhances performance in this role
- Experience with serving, bussing, or food preparation is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Experience in banquet service, hotel hospitality, or culinary settings can be beneficial
- Strong customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
