Responsibilities
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or ingredient setup under supervision.
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up tables, clearing service areas, and ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and dining areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food service operations.
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
