What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2ND Shift General Production position at Twin Rivers Foods?
This is the entry-level production category for hourly employees.
· It covers all job tasks associated with the production process that are class 1
·Examples of class 1 positions are general production employees in departments such as Mega jet, DSI, IF, Cone line and all other
processing departments.
Experience is not required, but is preferred
· Reliable and dependable; will be at work when scheduled to work. Available to work any shift.
· Positions involve standing for long periods of time, lifting to 70 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching and grasping.
· Environment: cold (40 to 45 degrees), floors are wet.
· Must follow all guidelines related to SSOP’s, GMP’s, PPE’s, etc.
· Must follow all rules in line with the company handbook, including attendance, break times, etc.
· Physical Requirement:
· Standing and/or walking during the entire shift.
· Requires considerable reaching, lifting, grasping of product while tumbling the product.
· Work in wet, cold environment.
