Position Summary:
Twin Pillars Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our growing construction team. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality finishes across our projects, ensuring that every space reflects the craftsmanship and standards our company is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, caulking, taping, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Execute finishes according to project specifications, drawings, and timelines
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to maintain workflow and deadlines
- Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures, and materials during all phases of work
- Complete punch list items and perform touch-ups to meet final quality expectations
- Follow all company safety standards and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with general jobsite organization, material staging, and cleanup
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in commercial or residential construction painting
- Strong understanding of construction jobsite practices and expectations
- Experience with spray application equipment preferred
- Wallpaper install experience is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans or scopes is a plus
- High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying conditions
- Exposure to dust, noise, and fumes
- Travel between job sites
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
