Job Overview
Twin Petals Flower Shop is looking for an experienced and creative Floral Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with flowers, providing great customer service, and helping keep the day-to-day operations of a busy flower shop running smoothly.
Duties
- Create beautiful, fresh floral arrangements for everyday orders and special occasions
- Process and prepare flowers when new shipments are received
- Manage and fulfill online orders
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with their floral needs
- Write and prepare cards to accompany flower deliveries
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable
- Organize and plan daily delivery routes for the delivery driver
- Occasionally make floral deliveries when needed
- Assist with general shop operations and other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in floral design is required
- Strong knowledge of flowers, floral care, and arrangement techniques
- Creative eye and attention to detail
- Friendly and professional customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Current vehicle insurance
- Ability to occasionally assist with deliveries
Compensation & Schedule
- $18/hour
- Part-time or freelance opportunities available
- Schedule can be discussed based on availability and shop needs
