Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity.
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities accurately.
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks aligned with dietary needs, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and kitchens
- Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
- Collaborate with team members, healthcare professionals, and family members to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs
- Support residents' emotional well-being through compassionate communication and active listening
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide respectful, patient-centered support in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
